Amblyseius swirskii is a predatory mite, belonging to the Phytoseidae family, that feeds on whitefly eggs and larvae (Bemisia tabaci and Trialeurodes vaporariorum), thrips larvae and, to a lesser extent, red and white spider mites.

DOSE

Depending on the pest problem and the crop, the dose (preventive, low curative or high curative) to be used can vary between 50 and 150 ind / m2.

CROPS

A. swirskii is used in various horticultural, ornamental and fruit trees. In tomato it cannot survive.

APP

Before opening the jar inside the culture, place it in a horizontal position and rotate its content so that it is homogeneous. It should be spread directly on the leaves in small mounds.

In the case in which the chosen format is envelopes, they will be hung directly on the floor at half height.

CONSERVATION

Store the container or box in a horizontal position at a temperature of 15-18ºC and do not break the cold chain throughout the transport and storage process. Store for a maximum of 48 hours after receipt, do not expose to sunlight and keep away from pesticide residues.

Avoid their storage combined with bumblebee hives in closed rooms without ventilation.
